CELL-O EZ AIRTRANSFER CUSHIONS

 

CELL-O EZ Double Cushion and Supertube films are designed with FP International’s innovative air transfer technology that allows air transfer (movement) within cushions during shipment. This unique technology provides continuous protection because it allows the cushion to flex to absorb shock. Air bags without air transfer technology can transit shock and damage the product during shipment.

BIODEGRADABLE NOVUS SELECT AIR CUSHION MATERIAL

 

Biodegradable NOVUS Select air cushion material is ISO 9001 certified, which meets the ever-growing customer demand for the highest level of quality in packing material. Biodegradable NOVUS Select air cushions are made from 100% recyclable material and can be recycled and reused. If not recycled, Biodegradable NOVUS Select air cushions will biodegrade within 9 to 60 months in the presence of microorganisms, whether they are sent to a landfill or end up as litter in the soil.

 

This material is designed with FP International’s patented, innovative air transfer technology that allows air movement (transfer) within cushions during shipment. This movement acts as a shock absorber to provide continuous protection. Air bags without air transfer technology can transmit shock and damage products during shipment.

 

Biodegradable NOVUS Select Double Cushion air cushions are an excellent economical packing material to block and brace or top- ll, when that’s all the protection you need.

 

How do we know the product will biodegrade?
Numerous plastic samples that use the additive have been tested by independent laboratories, in accordance with standard test methods approved by ASTM and other standardization bodies, to determine the rate and extent of biodegradation of plastic materials.

 

The test methods include:

  • ASTM D5511 – Anaerobic Biodegradability (Simulates land ll).
  • ASTM D5338 – Aerobic Biodegradation Under Controlled Composting Conditions.
  • ASTM 5209 – Aerobic Biodegradation in the Presence of Municipal Sewage Sludge. The results of these tests concluded that plastic products manufactured with this additive are biodegradable. Furthermore, our own testing supports these conclusions.

 

This FP biodegradable additive does not affect the performance or the shelf life of our product, because biodegradation only occurs in the presence of microorganisms which are present in land lls, home and commercial composting, and other areas where they exist in nature. The products will biodegrade in aerobic (with air) and anaerobic (without air) conditions.

FILL-AIR EXTREME

 

Sealed Air’s Fill-Air inflatable packaging is already known for its reliability and durability, yet Fill-Air Extreme film improves on the original by adding strength to both the material and the edge seal that locks air in.

 

Fill-Air Extreme film also improves the operator experience. The film runs quietly and the perforations between the cushions release easier with less effort. Also, we have added up to 1,300 linear feet of film to each roll — up to a 45% increase — without increase in roll diameter or weight. This increased length keeps your operators packing longer with fewer changeovers. Perhaps the greatest improvement Fill-Air Extreme film offers is an improved environmental profile.

 

The film is constituted using 33% less petroleum-based resins. Overall, Sealed Air has been able to reduce its environmental impact when producing this film by 25%.

The WrapPak PS converter forms two sheets of fanfold kraft paper into a resilient and shock absorbing 12-in. wide wrapping pad to protect product during shipment. WrapPak’s packaging wrap is ideal for securely wrapping products, lining the bottom of a box, or product separation. Ranpak’s patented fanfold paper with splicing tape virtually replaces the need to reload the converter, optimizing uptime and throughput while minimizing changeovers. A fully loaded WrapPak PS produces up to 1,500 ft. of wrapping pad on demand — up to six times the amount of a typical roll of bubble.

Geami WrapPak is the combination of a patented die cut kraft paper with a tissue interleaf paper. PADPAK Junior

 

PadPak Junior converts multiple ply kraft paper into a cushioning pad for fast, efficient cushioning and blocking and bracing for small volume packaging needs. The converter forms the paper into a protective, shock absorbing paper pad through a patented folding and stitching process. PadPak Junior is easy to operate and requires minimal operator training. The pad is fed by raising the operator handle to the top position and holding the handle there until the desired pad length is dispensed. The pad is cut by lowering the operator handle to the bottom position.

Biodegradable SUPER 8 loosefill is the right choice for the environment and for protecting your valuable products.

 

From manufacturing to disposal, Biodegradable SUPER 8 is made to provide product protection while being environmentally friendly. If not recycled, Biodegradable SUPER 8 loosefill will decompose within 9 to 60 months in the presence of microorganisms, whether it is sent to a landfill or ends up as litter in the soil.

 

Biodegradable SUPER 8 loosefill is also recyclable and can be reused many times. It is collected at over 1,500 locations in the US for reuse. It can be returned for recycling to locations listed in the Alliance of Foam Packaging Recyclers (AFPR) drop-off or mail-in program.

PakNatural is a biodegradable and compostable loose fill product, made from non-food renewable materials, that combines performance and efficiency at a competitive price.

 

Performance

The material is anti- static and provides cushioning protection equal to EPS. Independent tests demonstrate superior performance in keeping products from migrating inside the container during the distribution cycle. PakNaturalTM Loose Fill also offers low dust generation.

 

Efficiency

With performance superior to starch based products in resisting settling, PakNatural material offers superior void fill efficiency. Additionally, PakNaturalTM Loose Fill reduces storage issues, as it has shown better humidity resistance than starch.

 

Verification

A number of international certification organizations have certified PakNatural Loose Fill as a biodegradable and compostable material, including Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) certification under the organization’s American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) ASTM D6400 test for compostability, German certification organization DIN CERTCO and Belgium-based Vincotte, under the European test EN 13432.*
