3M™ Thin Flexographic Mounting Tape 2205

3M™ Thin Flexographic Mounting Tape 2205 is a 5 mil, double coated film tape with differential acrylic adhesives on a polyester film carrier with a polycoated kraft paper liner. This tape is specifically designed for the corrugated printing business to hold flexographic print plates to PVC saddles/carriers.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

3M™ Thin Flexographic Mounting Tape 2205 features the 3M air release liner, which has a crosshatched pattern, unlike other mounting tapes that use a pebbled or flat release liner. The embossed crosshatched pattern imprints unique micro-channels into the easy mount adhesive that allows entrapped air to escape.

Recommended Applications: Mounting flexographic corrugated post print plates to PVC saddles/carriers and PET saddles/carriers.
