SMIPACK: HA SERIES

 

The HA automatic handle applicators can apply handles on shrink fi lm packs, cardboard cases, briks, paper rolls or any type of rigid packs. The HA series can apply different types of handles, joined to a transparent adhesive tape and made from:

 

  • precut cardboard labels
  • pre-handled adhesive tape reels
  • paper and polypropylene handles on reel

At the moment, 4 models are available, differing in their speed: HA 25, HA 40, HA 60, HA 80. They grant, respectively, outputs of 25, 40, 60, 80 packs per minute -PPM-, considering the pack dimensions. All HA models can be configured to be placed in lines with single or double lane.

EASTEY MANUAL BUNDLING

 

Eastey’s EB30M utilizes two rolls of single wound film to produce a sleeve around the package. For easy loading, both rolls of film are low, on the same side of the machine and threaded through rollers to an inverter in the seal area. For user convenience, both the upper and lower film unwind are powered.

 

The overall design of the bundler is extremely rugged, built for lasting durability, and simple to use. An operator pushes the product through the film into the seal area. The 30” wide hot knife seal system is pulled down manually with magnetic hold down. The seal system is self centering. Once the package has passed through the seal system, an exit conveyor transfers the package into a recommended Eastey shrink bundling tunnel to produce a very tight and secure package.

INTERMITTENT MOTION 2-BELT SIDE SEAL WITH PNEUMATIC HEAD- MODEL 2010

The 2010 is Texwrap’s offering for applications requiring the wrapping of products at moderate speed where product length or height exceeds the capacity of an L-sealer. The 2010 is flexible enough to wrap anything from a deck of cards to a bundle of wood flooring. The 2010 also has a big product handling capacity capable of wrapping products up to 10” high and up to 20” wide. With film/conveyor speeds of 100 feet per minute, the 2010 has plenty of speed to handle a variety of applications. The 2010 is also available in a larger version (model 2810) designed to seal even wider packages.

The 2010 is an intermittent motion sealer in which the infeed conveyor stops momentarily while the end seal is being made. In a 2-belt design, the end seal is made prior to the side seal. This design allows the 2010 to fit in the space of an L-sealer but also requires the product to be spaced apart prior to entering the infeed conveyor.

The 2010 is easy to use, rugged enough for constant operation, and comes standard with premium features not available on competitive models in this price range including low-mount film cradle, touchscreen library to easily recall package setups, and automatic dwell time compensator. The 100 FPM conveyor speeds and Texwrap’s exclusive Motion Trim technology, make this unit the fastest of its kind on the market today. Allen-Bradley controls, restricted service-level menus, and AC VFD drives make the 2010 as popular with maintenance staffs as with operators.
