FULLY AUTOMATIC INLINE PRESSURE FORMERS
Starview’s PVE Series thermoformers are high-speed, servo driven and quick changeover machines designed for large-scale OEM and custom former applications. Designed with the user in mind these thermoformers provide total process control and maximum flexibility. These machines use pressure and/or vacuum to produce the highest possible quality finished parts. The PVE Series thermoformers will process all thermoforming grade materials including PVC, HIPS, PET, PP, HDPE, OPS, etc.
Standard features include:

ROLLER DIE CUTTING MACHINES

STARVIEW AUTOMATIC SLITTING-DIE CUTTING MACHINE
Starview’s SDC Series combination slitting and die cutting machines are a cost effective way to trim skin pack- aged products. These machines eliminate the use of individual steel rule dies for each different package configu- ration. The SDC Series features an intermittent motion in-feed conveyor to transfer skin boards to the die cutting and slitting area. Circular cutters running against a hardened steel roller are used to slit parallel to the movement of the skin board. A pneumatic press activates the cross cutting perpendicular to the movement of the skin board. The interval at which this cut is made is programmable from the touch screen operator interface panel.

Starview’s PHS1 Series impulse jaw type sealing machines are used to make a continuous bar seal across an open end or side of a plastic-to-plastic clamshell package. The standard machines feature one impulse heated sealing jaw with provision for optional air or water cooling of the jaws to improve the cycle time. Both the upper and lower jaws are heated and cooled. Plastic-to-plastic welds may be made with common clamshell materials such as PVC, PETG, RPETG and GAG PET.
