Objectives

The Director of Human Resources is responsible for assisting the company in its goal to maintain a stable, positive, trained work force, all the while, protecting the corporation and its principals from employment related legal liability through proactively incorporating sound human resources principles and ethics in to the company culture. The Director of HR to develop annual goals and complete them on a timely basis.

 

Communications & Coordination 

  • Providing information and service to other departments willingly and promptly is important.
  • Maintain ‘Open Door’ of communication and accessibility for all employees to have easy ability to access information and support from Human Resources.
  • Reduce paperwork for the management team.
  • Ensure communications are error free.

 

Policies & Procedures 

  • Develop, recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures.

  • Work to reduce personnel turnover and encourage retention at all PNC facilities.
  • Encourage promotion opportunities for current employees.
  • Administer the  termination process, related paperwork and filings, including an Exit Interview when appropriate.

 

Financial

  • Look for cost savings where possible and provide semi-annual report to President.
  • Cross check all applicable invoicing for accuracy and process for timely payment.
  • Seek to secure the best rates for services rendered.
  • Provide an annual department budget, and partner with managers regarding the budgeting of employment related expenses.

 

Employee Event & Moral Functions:

  • Organize and coordinate company social events, including the annual Awards Banquet, Holiday Parties, volunteer events, and other efforts.

 

Managerial

  • This position must fully supervise and hold accountable respective staff to an effective level of performance and contribution.
  • This includes hiring; training; ongoing performance accountability and monitoring (both formerly and informally); communicating, mentoring, and in some cases firing.

GENERAL PURPOSE

 

The basic purpose of this job position is to perform a variety of routine and complex transportation work in truck loading and unloading of materials and in driving to provide regular deliveries, with minimum supervision. On occasion, this position may also provide accurate and efficient movement of materials in the warehouse.

  • Primarily, this position will obtain packaging equipment and materials from PNC and deliver to customers.

Education and Experience:

  • Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving and proven skills for safely operating various trucks.
  • Maintains a valid driver’s license with clean MVR over last 7 years.
