THIS LINK leads to the machine-readable files (MRFs) that are made available in response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and includes negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers. The machine readable files are formatted to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers to more easily access and analyze data.

THIS LINK allows access to the Table of Contents for the Transparency in Coverage Rule machine-readable pricing files. Enforceable beginning 7/1/22, the first phase of the Transparency in Coverage Rule requires group health plans and health insurance issuers to:

 

 

  • Publicly disclose negotiated rates for in-network providers and allowed amounts for out-of-network providers
  • Provide the information in machine-readable files posted on a publicly available internet site for viewing
